Curriculum
Curriculum
At Creative Days Pre-School, our curriculum preschool approach is designed to be as dynamic as the children we teach.
We don't believe in rigid, one-size-fits-all lesson plans. Instead, we follow an emergent learning philosophy, observing what sparks your child's curiosity and building our educational activities around those interests.
The Foundations: Aistear & Síolta
Our playschool curriculum is firmly rooted in the two pillars of Irish early childhood education:
-
Aistear Curriculum: This framework supports your child's learning and development through four key themes: Well-being, Identity and Belonging, Communicating, and Exploring and Thinking.
-
Síolta: This is the National Quality Framework that ensures we maintain the highest professional standards in everything we do—from our environment to our interactions.
Everything we do is interwoven to ensure that while children are having fun, they are meeting essential developmental milestones.
Aistear and Outdoor Play
Aistear and Outdoor Play
We are passionate about Aistear and outdoor play. Because we split our time 50/50 between our indoor facility and our large custom-built outdoor area, the Aistear themes come to life in the fresh air.
Whether it's building resilience by navigating a climbing frame or developing "Exploring and Thinking" skills in our nature zones, our outdoor space is a vital classroom where children challenge themselves.
Why Our Approach Works
By listening to the child, our degree-led staff can pivot the day's activities to follow a child's passion.
This child-led approach builds deep confidence and ensures that "school" feels like a place of discovery rather than a place of rules.
