Deirdre Killeen
Owner/Manager
Meet Deirdre, an exceptional mother to three wonderful children. With over 20 years’ experience in childcare, Deirdre has been an integral part of Creative Days since September 2015. Her passion for working with children shines through, especially when she leads group projects inspired by their interests and curiosity. Deirdre holds a Bachelor of Arts in Early Childhood Care and Education, and she places great value on loose parts and outdoor learning. Her vibrant energy during sessions inspires both children and staff alike.
Josephine Marks
Early Years Educator
Meet Josephine, affectionately known as “Jojo” by the children. She is a devoted mother to two gorgeous children and brings a warm, creative energy to Creative Days, where she has been a valued team member since September 2018.
Holding a FETAC Level 6 qualification in Childhood Care and Education Supervisory Management, Josephine combines her expertise with a genuine love of working with young learners.
Friendly, creative, and always optimistic, Jojo’s infectious sense of humour brightens everyone’s day. She is truly cherished by children and staff alike, and we’re excited for another fun-filled year together.
Lauren Smith
Graduate Room Leader
Meet Lauren, an experienced educator and amazing mum of three from Australia. She began her teaching journey assisting her dance instructor, later working in out-of-school care while earning her Bachelor of Education in Early Childhood from Macquarie University, Sydney, in 2007.
Since relocating to Dublin in 2008, Lauren has worked in preschools across Australia and Ireland. She is passionate about early childhood education and excels at building meaningful relationships with children, always valuing their ideas. Her energy and sunny disposition embody who we are at Creative Days, and it's needless to say, everyone adores her.
Elaine Nicholson
Early Years Educator
Meet Elaine, a proud mum of two and a passionate childcare professional with six years’ experience. She joined Creative Days Preschool in 2024 and holds a Level 6 qualification in Early Childhood Education and Care.
Elaine is dedicated to nurturing children’s learning through play, extending activities based on their interests, and creating engaging tuff trays that spark curiosity and exploration.
Wholeheartedly embracing the Creative Days ethos, Elaine brings warmth, creativity, and commitment to her work with children.
